Plot
Peter is dealing with the grief of losing his wife while trying to raise two daughters on his own. His oldest daughter, Emily, starts acting out. The only person that may be able to help her is the person he trusts the least, his brother-in-law. When Emily puts herself into trouble, Peter is forced to put his bitterness aside for his brother-in-law, Zack, to save her.

'A Long Road Ahead' follows two siblings, Vanessa and David, running away from their abusive parents in search of a better home. Their journey is not as easy as they hoped as they are forced to have to deal with their past when their lives are threatened. At the point of no return, they have a long road ahead to get to where they are going.
